Refund & Cancellation Policy – OpenLoop Platform

At RX Optimal, we are committed to transparency, fairness, and compliance in every part of the patient experience. Please review the following Refund & Cancellation Policy – OpenLoop Platform carefully before purchasing any product or service.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • Prescription medication orders: Once a patient submits the initial medical intake, the order is considered in process and becomes non-refundable. This is because medical, clinical, pharmacy, and fulfillment resources are immediately dedicated to reviewing eligibility, processing prescriptions, and coordinating shipment.
  • Processed subscription charges: If you cancel a subscription after a payment has already been processed, the cancellation will stop future recurring charges only. Charges that have already been processed are non-refundable.
  • Prescription products already ordered or dispensed: In accordance with applicable Federal law and pharmacy safety standards, prescription medications generally cannot be returned, refunded, or reused once they have been ordered for a patient.

When Refunds May Be Granted

Refunds are issued only in the following circumstances:

1. Medical Ineligibility

A full refund may be issued if an altRx/OpenLoop provider determines during the initial consultation that the patient is not medically eligible for treatment based on clinical judgment and established medical guidelines.

However, no refund will be granted if the patient knowingly omitted, misstated, or misrepresented relevant medical information in the intake or qualification questionnaire, and that information later affects eligibility.

2. Billing Error

A full refund may be issued if RX Optimal made a verifiable billing error, such as an incorrect or duplicate charge.

How to Request a Refund

To be considered, refund requests must meet all of the following requirements:

  • The request must be submitted within 28 days of the original payment date.
  • The request must be made in writing by contacting help@rxoptimal.com or by mail at our listed business address.
  • Requests submitted after 28 days, or through other channels, may not be honored.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation does not refund any payment that has already been processed. Once a prescription order has been approved and processing has begun, it cannot be canceled for a refund. Once a shipment has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled, modified, or recalled.

Shipping Policy

After a prescription is approved during the telehealth consultation, compounded medication is typically shipped within 2–3 business days. Delivery timelines may vary based on pharmacy processing and carrier operations.

Service Area

RX Optimal products and services are available only to residents of the 50 United States. We do not accept or ship international orders.

Acknowledgment

The assessment made available on the RX Optimal website does not create a doctor-patient relationship between the individual completing the assessment and RX Optimal. OpenLoop Health, a network of US-licensed doctors that adhere to rigorous medical protocols designed for patient safety, has established exclusionary criteria to determine if an individual does not qualify for GLP-1s. The answers an individual provides to the RX Optimal assessment determine if the individual is screened out of eligibility for GLP-1 medication, and a OpenLoop Health clinician will meet with the individual after checkout to determine if they qualify for a prescription. OpenLoop Health clinicians retain the sole discretion to prescribe compounded GLP-1s to patients.

All claims and results referenced on this website reflect self-reported data from members enrolled in the RX Optimal healthcare membership program, which includes telehealth consultations with licensed providers and, where clinically appropriate, compounded GLP-1 medications. Members reported their weight at initial intake and at regular intervals thereafter. Individual results vary and depend on factors including starting weight, program adherence, diet, exercise, and the clinical recommendations of the treating provider. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies. These medications are not FDA approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or quality. The decision to prescribe compounded medications is an individualized clinical determination made by the treating provider based on the patient's medical history, current health status, and telehealth assessment. RX Optimal does not manufacture or compound medications. Actual medication appearance may differ from website imagery.

Pharmacy Partners: Prescriptions are filled by independently owned and operated state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies within the RX Optimal pharmacy network. Each pharmacy maintains its own state board of pharmacy licenses and operates under applicable federal and state compounding regulations.

Individual results vary based on starting weight, medical history, program adherence, diet, and exercise. The weight loss figures referenced on this website are based on self-reported data from RX Optimal members and are not derived from clinical trials or peer-reviewed studies. Not all members experience the same results. A prescription is never guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of the treating provider. Consult your healthcare provider before beginning any weight management program.

The RX Optimal healthcare membership includes access to telehealth consultations with licensed providers and, where clinically appropriate, prescription fulfillment through the RX Optimal pharmacy network. Medical services are provided by Usable Health, PC and its affiliated professional medical practices, independently owned and operated. RX Optimal provides the technology platform and administrative services and does not provide medical services or make prescribing decisions. No data, photographs, claims, or other information presented on this website are derived from clinical trials or published peer-reviewed studies. All results and testimonials are representative of individual RX Optimal member experiences only.
